About Greenway Views
LDK Seniors’ Living’s flagship village, Greenway Views, is in Greenway, Tuggeranong in Canberra, opposite the South Point shopping centre and walking distance to the Tuggeranong town centre. The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end. Greenway Views is home to nearly 400 residents over the age of 65. The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal space facilitating social connectedness and a vibrant village community. LDK delivers lifestyle-for-life through a variety of age-friendly facilities, amenities and activities for both independent and non-independent residents. About the Role
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Clinical Lead to oversee the care and clinical services of residents living in their own home within the LDK Village Community. The Assistant Clinical Lead role works concurrently with the Village General Manager and National Care Manager.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide visible clinical leadership across the 7-day period.
- Assisting in leading the care team in the delivery of care and services to residents as well as mentoring and educating Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants.
- Support the Clinical Lead with day-to-day management of clinical acuity, including Eevi responses, hospital transfers, resident deterioration, and incident management.
- Support the Dementia Program and all care staff to deliver best practice dementia care.
- Manage incidents and feedback within the care environment.
- Collaborate with the Clinical Lead and National Care Manager to deliver all aspects of care to the highest standard.
- Work with Clinical Case Managers to ensure communication and timely action on resident care needs for each of their portfolios.
- Collaborate with move in Registered Nurse for clinical reviews and escalations ahead of new resident and respite move ins.
- Support training, connection and communication across the team.
- Assist with RICI review, closeout, reporting, and identifying trends for action.
- Conduct monthly audits aligned to the Care Governance auditing schedule.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Current Registration with APRHA as a Registered Nurse with more than 5 years nursing experience.
- Demonstrated high level competence in the provision of contemporary nursing care including medication management, clinical assessment, and relevant documentation
- Demonstrated specialty skills in complex wound management, chronic disease management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care (highly desirable)
- High level of confidence in using technology relevant to the delivery of nursing/care services
- Understanding of financial link between service delivery and funding framework (such as Home Care).
- Understanding of all relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care environment with a particular emphasis on funding, Quality Systems, Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement.
