About the Role
The Care Compliance Officer plays a critical role in supporting LDK’s care service delivery by ensuring that village care teams operate in compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and other relevant regulatory requirements. This role is ideally suited for a Registered Nurse with a passion for quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and clinical governance. This role is a remote role with some travel required to our NSW and ACT villages.
The role involves close collaboration with village-based care teams, providing guidance, training, and support in meeting compliance obligations, compiling clinical data, and producing reports to support the Care Governance Manager in monitoring performance and driving continuous improvement.
Role Responsibilities
- Support village care teams to maintain compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, Home Care Packages (HCP) program requirements, government funding and other relevant legislation.
- Conduct internal audits, spot checks, and reviews to assess and improve compliance processes.
- Collect, analyse, and interpret clinical and compliance data from across care services.
- Prepare high-quality reports, summaries, and dashboards for the Care Governance Manager and National Care Team.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement based on data analysis.
- Build strong relationships with care staff, village management, and multidisciplinary teams across LDK villages.
- Travel intermittently to LDK villages in Canberra and Sydney as required to conduct compliance support activities and in-person training.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Registered Nurse with current registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably within aged care or home care settings.
- Experience with compliance, auditing, or quality assurance in aged care is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory framework.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse clinical data and prepare professional reports.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a supportive and collaborative approach.
- Willingness to travel intermittently to village locations.
- Passion for improving the quality of care and life for older Australians.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant clinical documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote national team.
