About the Role
We're looking for a dedicated Groundsperson to join the Facilities team, to help ensure that our 5-star premium village is kept at a high standard of presentation for all residents and guests to enjoy. Reporting into and working alongside the Facilities Manager, the Groundsperson will take responsibility for all garden spaces within Amberfield, with a keen eye for detail and care to help these beautiful spaces thrive.
Role Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a long-term plan for the Village gardens to enhance presentation, minimal green waste and damage to property.
- Carry out gardening activities with efficiency and effective time management, keeping in mind minimal interference to residents and guests.
- Monitor stock levels of consumables and follow process for re-ordering where required.
- Comply with all work, health and safety requirements.
- Attend to administrative duties associated with tasks to ensure accurate record keeping.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Qualifications in horticulture, gardening and/or landscaping (desirable)
- First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking gardening duties, preferably in an aged care environment
- Experience in planning and managing gardening activities in a timely manner
