About Amberfield

LDK Seniors' Living’s newest premium village, Amberfield, is located on Cotter Road in Weston, in Canberra’s inner south. It is a short driving distance to Yarralumla, Curtin and Woden town centre. About the Role

We are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to provide a welcoming first point of contact for all residents, family, visitors and contractors at our 5-star, premium built village, Amberfield. Reporting to and working closely with the Resident Services Manager and fellow receptionist team, you'll be working within a vibrant workplace culture where Love, Decency and Kindness is at the forefront of our minds. By providing high-quality service and support over a wide range of day-to-day administrative duties, assisting with events and in-house activities, you'll be able to develop meaningful and ongoing connections with residents and fellow staff.

Role Responsibilities

  • Attend to a variety of enquiries, bookings and other matters accurately and promptly.
  • Manage Amberfield’s ticketing system, ensuring prompt responses to resident requests and directing enquiries to the appropriate department as needed.
  • Accompany residents on scheduled outings as per the Village outing calendar, ensuring their safety and enjoyment throughout the experience.
  • Provide administrative support and reception services to the Village.
  • Maintain a high standard of functionality and cleanliness of the reception area.
  • Assist the Village Manager, staff, contractors and residents with administrative tasks such as word processing, correspondence.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Demonstrated experience within a 5-star hotel environment.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • High attention to detail. 
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate
