About The Role

The Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in enabling successful project delivery by ensuring clarity, traceability and alignment of business requirements. This role supports project teams and sponsors in defining measurable benefits and ensuring that solutions meet stakeholder needs. The BA acts as a bridge between business units and delivery teams, translating strategic objectives into actionable requirements and supporting benefits realisation throughout the project lifecycle. This role is responsible for capturing and analysing business needs, identifying solutions and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.

This role is based in our Support Office in Brisbane City. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Engage proactively with stakeholders to elicit, analyse and document comprehensive business and functional requirements. 
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable documentation including requirements traceability matrixes, process maps, use cases, user stories and detailed specifications. 
  • Partner with project managers and business teams to scan for, select and negotiate with suppliers and vendors. 
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and collaborative sessions to validate requirements and explore solutions options. 
  • Partner with project managers and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with project goals and broader organisational strategy. 
  • Conduct current state assessments and contribute to the design of future state processes, systems and capabilities. 
  • Support the development of business cases, including cost-benefit analyses, feasibility assessments and recommendations. 
  • Contribute to testing activities, including test planning, execution support and coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT). 
  • Maintain and enhance business analysis PMO documentation, templates and governance frameworks to support consistent project execution.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • 5 years of Business Analysis experience
  • IIBA Certifications 
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence (desirable)
  • Relevant aged care sector and/or health industry knowledge 
  • Competent understanding of the Australian health and/or aged care systems 
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, facilitating workshops, interviews and collaborative sessions to elicit and validate business requirements
