About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Supported Lifestyle Lead to take ownership of our Supported Lifestyle Program. You will have the unique opportunity to design and deliver meaningful activities that celebrate residents choice, foster belonging and purpose, and promote wellbeing, including for those living with dementia. Reporting to the Resident Services Manager, this role offers the opportunity to lead a small team, utilise your creativity, and contribute to a program that makes a meaningful difference every day.
This is a Monday to Friday role (0900am - 1700pm)
 
Role Responsibilities
Include but not limited to:
  • Connect with residents and families to design Lifestyle Plans that reflect each individual’s interests and abilities.
  • Plan and deliver exciting group activities that boost participation and bring our village community together.
  • Organise a mix of engaging activities, onsite and offsite, including fun and purposeful bus outings (twice a week)
  • Lead, mentor, and support a small team of  Lifestyle Assistants in program delivery
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
  • Certificate IV in Aging Support and a First Aid  + CPR Certificate (Mandatory)
  • Full Driver’s Licence (Mandatory)
  • Knowledge of Montessori methods or dementia friendly practices in aged care (desirable)
  • Proven experience in leading teams and developing engaging activities in an aged care setting
