About The Landings

LDK Seniors’ Living’s luxury village, The Landings, is sprawled over 11.87-hectares in North Turramurra, on Sydney’s upper north shore. The village neighbours the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, is near Lady Davidson Private Hospital, and is a short drive to the North Turramurra golf course, bowling club, cafes and shops. The Landings comprises 220 architecturally designed one, two and three -bedroom villas and apartments. LDK creates a true sense of belonging, community, and vibrancy for residents through a variety of group activities and hospitality events. On-site facilities include an arts and craft room, gymnasium and heated indoor pool. The clubhouse amenities include The Hangar Cafe & Bar, a fireplace lounge area, a pool room, a dedicated theatre space, and a 200-seat function space.

About the Role

The Senior Registered Nurse (SRN) provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for allocated shifts, ensuring safe, high‑quality and person‑centred care. Acting as the senior clinical point of contact, this role supports clinical decision‑making, manages escalations, responds to emergencies, and upholds compliance with legislation and LDK values.

This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for an experienced RN ready to lead shifts and support care teams in a dynamic village environment.

Employment Type: Permanent Part-time 

Shift availability we are looking for: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday – 2:30pm to 11:00pm 

                                                         Sunday Monday & Tuesday – 6:30am to 03:00pm

                                                        

Role Responsibilities 

  • Provide clinical leadership, coordination and supervision of care staff during shifts
  • Act as the escalation point for clinical incidents, emergencies and nurse call events
  • Lead shift handovers and team huddles
  • Support safe medication administration and infection control practices
  • Conduct clinical rounding across residents, PCA Leads and Memory Support areas
  • Liaise with GPs, Nurse Practitioners, allied health and pharmacies
  • Support staffing issues in collaboration with rostering
  • Ensure timely incident, risk and feedback reporting
  • Promote a positive, accountable and collaborative care culture

 Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 3 years’ nursing experience
  • Previous experience as a shift lead or senior RN is desirable
  • Strong clinical judgement, communication and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to lead teams in a fast‑paced care environment
  • Commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred care and continuous learning
