About The Role
We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our Care team at Greenway Views in our beautiful Cogan Cottage. Working within the dementia environment, you will provide a high level of holistic, individualised nursing care for our residents living with dementia. Running the floor day to day, you will supervise Personal Care Assistants on shift whilst providing clinical leadership and role modelling the LDK values. Various permanent part time positions are available working rosters on a variety of shifts from morning afternoon and night shifts.
Role Responsibilities (but not limited to)
- Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual clinical case management to village residents in Cogan Cottage
- Provide safe and effective care to achieve identified individual health outcomes.
- Promote and contribute to clinical governance and quality management across LDK policies and procedures.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 3+ years' experience as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated competence in the provision of nursing care in a dementia environment including medication management, clinical assessment and relevant documentation
- Demonstrated skills in complex wound management, chronic disease management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care (highly desirable)
- Understanding of all relevant legislative, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and guidelines relevant to the Aged Care environment with a particular emphasis on funding, Quality Systems, Accreditation and Continuous Quality Improvement.
