About The Role
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and comprehensive nursing assistance to residents with high care needs, including Dementia and Palliative services.
- Promote and deliver a holistic approach to care, focusing on the needs and rights of village residents and/or community clients (as required) in accordance with Consumer Directed Care (CDC) principles.
- Provide comprehensive, safe and effective evidence-based care to achieve identified individual health outcomes.
- Provide education to village residents oriented towards the promotion of health improvements.
- Provide support, direction and education to shift care team (Personal Care Assistants) including newer or less experienced staff.
- Promote and contribute to clinical governance and quality management across LDK Healthcare policies, procedures and systems.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Current Registration with APRHA as a Registered Nurse. You will be required to renew and maintain AHPRA registration on an ongoing basis as a condition of employment for this position.
- Demonstrated skills in complex wound management, chronic disease management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care.
- Demonstrated competence in the provision of contemporary nursing care including medication management, clinical assessment and relevant documentation.
- Relevant experience working in the Aged Care or Community Care environment (Desirable)
- Ability to use technology relevant to the delivery of nursing/care services.
