About Greenway Views 

LDK Seniors’ Living’s flagship village, Greenway Views, is in Greenway, Tuggeranong in Canberra, opposite the South Point shopping centre and walking distance to the Tuggeranong town centre. The village consists of 327 apartments, spread over five buildings that is about half a kilometre long from end-to-end. Greenway Views is home to nearly 400 residents over the age of 65. The village has over 6,000 square metres of communal space facilitating social connectedness and a vibrant village community. LDK delivers lifestyle-for-life through a variety of age-friendly facilities, amenities and activities for both independent and non-independent residents. On-site facilities include a gym, art centre, chapel, dance room, theatre, library, cafes,restaurants, village shed, barber shop, hairdresser, medical consultation room, grocer, purpose designed meeting spaces and a dog park.  

About the role

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the Facilities Coordinator role provides essential administrative and operational assistance, ensuring smooth coordination of contractor activities, compliance with safety standards, and efficient communication across staff and residents. This position plays a key role in maintaining compliance, managing schedules, and supporting the overall functionality of the facilities team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Cross-checking the site inspections calendar to ensure they are performed in a timely manner
  • Flagging overdue services
  • Organising contractor site visits
  • Expedite communication on services and liaise with residents when schedule is required
  • Following up on reports after service completion
  • Conduct contractor inductions and ensure adherence to site protocols
  • Verify contractor compliance with insurance and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
  • Capture and assign WHS responsibilities within the facilities team
  • Efficiently vet and manage incoming emails for prioritization and response.
  • Liaise with residents regarding contractor appointments and service updates.
  • Take minutes and maintain accurate notes for staff meetings.
  • Conduct staff site inductions and maintain induction records.

About you 

  • Previous experience in administrative support or facilities coordination preferred.
  • Knowledge of WHS compliance and contractor management processes desirable.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with systems like Dext, Xero.
