Join the Library service and provide an important service to the community, by organising and conducting Children's events, holiday programs and Author programs. Use your skills as a Library Technician to embrace the challenges of working in a busy community library.

Salary

$46,262 - $51,065 p.a + super + applicable penalties; full time 35 hr/wk rotating roster including evenings and weekends

This child related position will require a NSW Working with Children check clearance

Requirements

Essential:

1. Eligible for Technician or Librarian membership of ALIA

2. Strong organisational and problem solving skills; ability to prioritise work

3. Knowledge of the provision of Library Programmes and Events in Public Libraries

4. Knowledge of the provision of Information Desk services

5. Demonstrated supervisory ability

6. Class C Driver’s Licence

7. High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills

8. A team player with a customer service focus

9. Understanding of EEO and WH&S principles and their application in the workplace

10. Must meet Child Protection Act requirements and hold a current NSW Working with Children Check clearance
