About the role

We are seeking a Program Manager to take charge of Multicap's Avegates Program.

The Program Manager will be tasked with developing Social and Community programs, events and holidays to support the organisation's strategic direction, managing long term goals as well as meeting the goals of our existing Multicap customers and the broader community. This position will report to the General Manager Support Services and is responsible for budgets and developing and maintaining standardized operating plans for every program and event.

  • Organising programs, events and holidays in accordance with the mission and goals of the organisation.
  • Developing new programs, events and holidays to support the strategic direction of the organisation.
  • Creating and managing long-term goals.
  • Developing budgets and manage operating plans for the program, event and holiday.
  • Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.
  • Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, and quality and team member performance.
  • Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding program issues and decisions on services.
  • Producing accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
  • Analysing program risks.
  • Working on strategy with the marketing team.

About you

The program manager must have strong practical experience in program development and management. The Program Manager must have the following:

  • Good knowledge and handling of program management methodology and techniques; including event management 
  • Good understanding of the wider objectives of the program; 
  • An understanding and knowledge on creating and executing holidays 
  • Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management; 
  • Strong leadership and management skills; 
  • Good knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures; and 
  • The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.

Mandatory requirement

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card). You must also have completed NDIS Worker Orientation training. To complete this requirement please login to https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/ if you don’t currently hold this certificate.

Salary sacrifice + Meal entertainment

Attractive Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses.
