About the role

We are currently seeking a Full Time Project Support Officer to join our Customer Innovation Team. Working in this team the Project Support Officer plays a vital and dynamic role in supporting a range of administration activities which foster service innovation and contribute to the successful delivery of established projects.

As a Project Support Officer with the Customer Innovation Team, your responsibilities will be inextricably tied to the success of the key initiatives which help the organisation to advance its change agenda, gaining authentic insights from customers and using these to deliver improved experiences and opportunities for our customers.

  • Undertake investigation and data gathering as it relates to existing and relevant research/ legislation which support project strategy and success.
  • Monitoring project schedules and budgets, preparing progress reports, and liaising with key stakeholders.
  • Support the planning, organisation and facilitation of  a range of consultative forums/ workshops with key stakeholders
  • Undertaking administrative activities that contribute to the successful piloting/implementation of agreed projects
  • Provide administrative supports to project teams including minute taking, setting up meetings etc.
  • Management of established centralised records repository as they relate to customer innovation and Multicap’s Knowledge Base
  • Administrative moderation of Multicap’s Customer Innovation System
  • Provide other general administrative and project supports To General Manager Customer Innovation and Assets and Strategy Team as required

 

About you

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in a similar role leading or supporting the delivery of projects, programs or other structured initiatives; or a relevant tertiary qualification. (Social Innovation, Business Administration, Project Management, Program Management etc.)
  • High level written and oral communication skills with the ability to adapt and negotiate in a flexible and rapidly changing environment, including developing executive correspondence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with a wide range of people internal and external to your organisation.
  • Computer literacy, including use of standard Microsoft office applications.
  • Current QLD Driver’s License
  • DSQ Positive Notice Card (or willingness to obtain).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the rights and empowerment of people with a disability.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimum supervision and to be self-motivated, as well as an ability to work well in a team and contribute to the larger organisation purpose
  • A commitment to respectful communication with people with a disability who may have diverse backgrounds and a wide range of assistance requirements.

 

Mandatory requirement

Please note that the successful applicant will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a positive notice from Disability Services (Yellow Card) and Working with Children Check (Blue card). You must also have completed NDIS Worker Orientation training. To complete this requirement please login to https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/ if you don’t currently hold this certificate.

Salary sacrifice + Meal entertainment

Attractive Salary packaging including $15,900 packaging limit per FBT year (1 April- 31 March) and $2,550 per year for meals and entertainment expenses.
