We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to support our busy Packaging Teams at our Tingalpa warehouse.


Your new role

Our successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the two off-site packaging and re-work warehouses and integrate the businesses into Multicap's existing Social Enterprise organisation. Other primary duties will include:

  • Communicating with warehouse staff across two sites, giving positive guidance and leadership
  • Liaising with transport providers ensuring on time delivery
  • Ensure efficient warehouse best practice is followed
  • Develop, lead and execute warehouse and logistical strategies that are consistent with Multicap's core purpose (The quality of life of people with disabilities is enhanced by our support
  • Ensure relevant resources are available for each job
  • Manage the operational budget and expenditure


What you bring

To be considered for the position, you will ideally have demonstrated previous experience with warehousing inwards and outwards of good. You will also demonstrate:

  • Understanding of P&L budgeted reporting and guidelines
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively within a team
  • Some mechanical knowledge desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive attitude
  • A proven ability to multi-task
  • Sound level of numeracy, literacy and computer skills including the ability to use email, software programs and spreadsheets
  • Experience in a not for profit, community or social service environment (limited budget and resources)
