With the introduction of the NDIS Multicap is focussed on ensuring that the developing commercial engagement with our customers does not impact our high quality disability services. The Multicap NDIS Officer role is maturing as the scheme stabilises and Multicap systems automate what will become everyday business practice. While these business practices mature Multicap is seeking skilled, dynamic, commercially minded, individuals to execute developing business practice while playing  a part in refining them. The skills a person has that will lead to success in the role include business acumen, contract management, project management, stakeholder management, commercial acumen, attention to detail, process and task oriented.

The role will work alongside service delivery management to ensure that the contractual relationship with the customer, whether direct or through the NDIA, is sound. This will empower service delivery to deliver on the customer request, delivering customer satisfaction, outcomes and ensuring the life of the person with a disability is enhanced through our supports. The NDIS Officer role will then engage again to ensure that the service delivered is captured and presented in a way that ensures payment to Multicap.

The role is a great opportunity for a commercially minded individual who is ready to apply their skills in an environment where success in the role results in direct tangible outcomes for a person with a disability. The successful person does not require any experience in the disability sector although an empathy and understanding of the sector is desirable. Skills in Microsoft Office are critical.

In your new role you will:

  • Manage and coordinate customers current and up to date Service Agreements and Schedules of Support to meet NDIA and NDIS legislative standards and compliance requirements as well as Multicap’s policy and procedures.

 

  •  Supported Independent Living (SIL) Quotes are processed in a more consistent and timely manner to meet NDIA and NDIS compliance requirements as well as Multicap’s policy and procedures are met.

 

  •  Maintain NDIS portal claiming compliance and documentation ensuring accurate and timely completion of invoices to NDIS customers and Plan Managers for services rendered for a fee to clients. 
  • Recognise the issues associated with NDIS claiming process and implement resolution strategies to mitigate financial risk to Multicap. 
  • Accurate record keeping, data analysis and producing periodic reports on service cost versus contract revenue ratio. 
  • Ensure that person centred plans and schedules of support meet the needs of the NDIA planning process. 
  • Coordinate the development of quotes for the NDIA and the provision of evidence to the NDIA that customer support has been provided. 
  • Work with wider organizational teams to develop and refine relevant policies and procedures.

What you bring

  • Capacity to maintain a current working knowledge of NDIA, NDIS, rules and amendments, guidelines, best practices and procedures, and an understanding of the impacts to participants and service providers within the practical application and delivery of services within an NDIS framework.
  • Ability to problem solve, coach, mentor, influence, lead and collaborate.
  • Ability to undertake financial analysis, with strong written and oral communication.
