We are seeking a Permanent Part-time Disability Support Worker to provide support to persons with a disability within our Accommodation Services, where we provide 24/7 care. You will be supporting customers with complex support needs including dual diagnosis/mental health. The role will be approximately 40 hours per fortnight.

In supporting them out in the community, you'll be providing opportunities to create friendships, connecting with others in the community and enhancing their social experiences. 
 
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to have:
  • Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support OR
  • Experience within the industry (eg. disability, mental health, aged care, individual support, community services or youth work etc.) 
  • Experience with challenging and complex behaviours (further training is provided)
  • Ability to work outside of school hours
  • First Aid Certificate and CPR, or willing to obtain one
  • Current Drivers License (mandatory)
  • Must be available for sleep overs and working a rotating roster
  • Experience working with Youth an advantage
  • Experience working with Mental Health an advantage
 
Successful candidates will be required to hold a Blue & Yellow Card (Multicap can help you with this application process).
