About the role

Join our team to drive best-practice parking solutions, champion community outcomes, and ensure exceptional contractor and stakeholder management. This role sits within the Council’s compliance operations team and is integral to delivering our vision for accessible, connected, and sustainable public spaces.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage contractor and consultant performance for parking projects
  • Develop and implement policies in line with current parking and transport legislation
  • Provide expert advice to internal and external stakeholders on parking and transport issues
  • Utilise data analysis tools to prepare clear, actionable reports for management
  • Identify and treat risks affecting parking operations and projects
  • Foster collaboration across teams and engage the community in project delivery
  • Ensure compliance with recordkeeping, ethics, and health and safety standards

Skills and experience require to perform the role

  • Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Contract Management, or related discipline
  • Substantial experience in strategic transport/parking planning
  • Experience in engagement and change management for complex projects
  • Strong background in contractor management and data/report analysis
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with a range of stakeholders
