About the role
We are seeking a highly specialised Product Owner to drive the business needs of the ERP transformation, overseeing the Subject Matter Experts, with a focus on managing internal stakeholders, and ensuring the program is delivered on time and within scope. You’ll play a pivotal role in aligning people, processes, and technology to build organisational readiness and embed sustainable change across Council operations.
Key Focus Areas
Program Leadership & Governance
- Owns the scope for the TechnologyOne ERP implementation.
- Leads the Subject Matter Experts
- Manage programs internal resources, dependencies, and executive reporting.
- Owns the tactical decision-making Program Working Group
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Management
- Develop and deliver organisation‑wide engagement and change strategies.
- Drive user adoption and business readiness through structured change activities.
- Facilitate workshops and consultations across all levels of Council.
- Build strong relationships with TechnologyOne, implementation partners, and vendors.
Organisational Readiness
- Work directly with the Change Lead on identifying stakeholders and change readiness
- Coordinate system integrations and ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
- Oversee the design and delivery of role-based training programs in partnership with TechnologyOne and functional leads
- Champion process standardisation and optimisation.
Benefit realisation and engagement
- Owns the delivery of the benefits across Council
- Work in close partnership with the Program Manager to ensure alignment and avoid duplication of the engagement strategy
- Facilitate targeted engagement sessions, demonstrations and feedback loops with end users at all levels
- Measure adoption rates, usage of new toolsets and user confidence post go-live
About you
You’re a seasoned Product Owner with deep experience delivering complex ERP or enterprise‑wide transformation programs. You thrive in environments where people, process, and technology intersect, and you bring a confident, collaborative, and strategic approach to change. Your ability to influence, engage, and inspire will be key to the success of this program.
