The Opportunity
We have a number of full-time, part-time and casual Support Worker & Community Support Worker opportunities available that operate Monday to Sunday with flexible start and finish times.
Working for a NFP at the forefront of innovation means you won't be restricted helping customers in a traditional funding program! Our staff support a variety of customers from six Sydney and Greater Sydney 'Hubs'; which means plenty of opportunity to extend your industry experience supporting people with a person centred approach!
You will report to the rostered site Team Leader at one of six Regional Hubs:
Sydney Hubs:
- North Shore and Northern Beaches
- Ryde and Hornsby
- Inner West
Greater Sydney Hubs:
- Liverpool and Bankstown
- Campbelltown and Southern Highlands
- Holroyd and Hills

Key responsibilities will include:
- Person centred / recovery oriented support with customers
- Promoting and empowering independence
- Assisting customers with activities of daily living
- Undertaking travel using various modes of public transport
- Providing customer transport
- Participating in a range of activities within the community such as shopping, health and wellbeing activities, and attending appointments
- Contributing to the development of individual support plans for your customers;
- Managing some challenging behaviours
Skill and Experience:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for the sector and supporting vulnerable people
- Experience with challenging behaviours; highly desirable
- Technical literacy with proven ability to use Microsoft Office and systems for reporting
- Minimum Cert IV in Mental Health, Disability, Nursing or equivalent industry experience
- Availability to work across a 7 day rotating roster (Mental Health)
- Availability to work across a 7 day 24hour rotating roster (Disability)
- A current NSW drivers licence
- Australian Federal Police Check (issued within the last 6 months)
- Current NSW WWCC
- First aid certificate
