Two new opportunities have emerged for Production Planners based at our McRoyle St facility Wacol QLD.

Position One The purpose of the position is plan operational activity for Ham and Salami raw material production in Queensland facilities in order to ensure supply to the customer, achieve production efficiency and minimise stock holding risk.

Position Two. The purpose of the position is plan operational activity for Bacon production in Queensland facilities in order to ensure supply to the customer, achieve production efficiency and minimise stock holding risk.

Role Responsibilities:

 Functional Responsibilities:

  • Weekly Capacity Planning
  • Daily  production planning 10 days rolling
  • Daily Review of  production v plan
  • Communication of production v plan discrepancies
  • Communication to Production on: daily; 5 day; and 3 week plans
  • Communication to Procurement on 5 days Requirements
  • Communication to Packaging on 5 day production plan

Skills/Competencies:

  • Tertiary qualified
  • You will have 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong understanding of budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience in process improvement and change management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong Communicator with excellent listening and interaction skills
  • Experience managing successful teams
  • Quality focus
  • Good conflict resolution skills
  • Structured and logical methodology
  • Attention to detail and accuracy – essential
  • Ability to work well under mutiply deadlines and pressure
