About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, Accountable Group has an exciting opportunity for a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join their Brisbane based team in Toowong.
This is a rewarding and diverse role, where you will be primarily responsible for designing and implementing advanced systems solutions that will drive clients’ businesses forward. Some of your specific responsibilities will include:
- The design and implementation of advanced Microsoft-based networks and systems, to provide a ‘complete system’ solution to clients;
- Proactively conduct market/product research to forecast market changes and make recommendations regarding future product use and system design;
- Provision of expert technical advice and guidance to fellow Systems Engineers and clients;
- Liaise with a range of suppliers, software and hardware vendors to ensure access to supplier support services
You will also be required to travel from time to time to assist in high level projects at client locations and at Accountable’s offices in Melbourne and Sydney.
About You
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in systems, with a solid knowledge of current networking technology and computer hardware.
You will be highly proficient in Windows Server 2008, VM Ware, Hyper V, and Terminal Servers and will have experience in WAN/LAN integration, remote communications and the following:
- Application virtualisation
- 2007/2010 Exchange implementation experience
- SOE/MOE Design, Implementation and Support
- SQL 2005/2008 Design, Implementation and Support
- 2003/2008 Active Directory Migration, Review and Health Check
As a dedicated professional, you will hold certifications in MCITP (2008) or MCTS (2003, 2008). With your professional demeanour and proactive solutions approach, you will be a technical guru with a keen interest in up-and-coming technology and how it can be implemented to benefit your clients.
As a strong communicator, you will be able to easily translate technical requirements into basic business language for your clients. You will need to have a current manual driver’s licence. Project management experience is highly desirable.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will be rewarded with highly competitive remuneration, circa $70,000 - $100,000, commensurate on the skills and experience that you will bring to this role.
