Our client is a globally established Textile Manufacturing and Supply company that services markets in Australia, New Zealand and the USA through importing and wholesaling. Highly regarded in the market place due to their product development expertise, innovation, sophisticated distribution and IT systems, they are leading textile suppliers for the commercial, institutional and hospitality industries.
Our client is seeking a Planner / Stock Coordinator to join their company in Bayswater Victoria, with the potential to earn $66,000 per annum plus superannuation.
The primary purpose of this position is to plan and liaise stock coordination for overseas clients and communicate stock availability internally and externally.
Reporting to the Operations Manager some of your responsibilities include:
- Developing current systems
- Communicating stock availability internal and external
- Completing sales orders and providing a high level of customer service
To be successful in this role you will need to have at least 5+ years experience planning or stock coordinating and possess a high level of Excel skills.
Additionally, having knowledge of stock ordering systems like MRP (material replenishment planning) and experience dealing with import/ export freight companies would be beneficial for this position.
Someone who has strong communication skills, is well organised and works well within a team would be ideal for this role.
