Our client is an architectural and construction company providing modern services across all of New Zealand who pride themselves on delivering great quality and contemporary architecture. The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Documentation Manager/ CAD Manager to join their company in Auckland, with the potential to earn $100,000 per annum, negotiable salary based on experience.

The primary purpose of this position is to help deliver great drawing sets from the design team to the build team whilst further integrating the BIM within the design side of the business. 

Reporting to the Design Director some of your responsibilities include:


  • Carrying out quality assurance over project architects' drawing sets
  • Helping the team with technical queries around detailing
  • Resolving new detailing to fit within the systems, as required
  • Checking all drawing sets before they are submitted for building consent and to project managers
  • Exploring new building technologies and methodologies
  • Managing the RFIs from council and ensuring a smooth consenting process
  • Integrating BIM further within the business
  • Scripting elements within the software to provide more consistency throughout projects

To be successful in this role you will have a good technical background with a thorough understanding of the NZBC and NZ standards. Additionally, you will have solid working knowledge of BIM, how it is used and how to implement it. 

Someone who can deliver great drawings sets from the design team to the build team and further integrate BIM within the design side of the business would be ideal.
