Our client is the state controlling body for the code of Australian Football in NSW/ACT. Through grass roots, junior football development, the NSW/ACT area has developed more than 190,000 participants playing at all levels of football. The NSW/ACT body is responsible for administration, development and marketing of all aspects of Australian football.

This is a casual position where you can work between 5 to 30 hours per week.
Our client is seeking a Development Officer to join their organisation in the Sydney region, with the potential to earn the National Award Rate (Negotiable Salary Based on Experience). This is a casual position providing between 5 and 30 hours of work per week, depending on your working requirements.
The primary purpose of this position is to deliver junior development programs in schools, universities and the local community.
Reporting directly to Development Manager some of your responsibilities include:
- Assist with the delivery of Auskick Program
- Establish new junior clubs and ensure they are well managed
- Assist with the delivery of Special Programs
- Other administrative tasks as required
To be successful in this role you must have an interest in developing Australia as a Sporting Nation and have the ability to take on a casual role (this is not a full-time position). You must be great with computers, be able to communicate well with others and live within Sydney region.
Due to the nature of the role, you will need a drivers licence, reliable car and a valid Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one).
