Our Client
Our client has various Childcare Centres throughout NSW. They have a passionate and dedicated team who love teaching and bring the best out of every child. They cater for 59 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. Each room in decorated with natural materials included fresh flowers and a friendly fish or bird encouraging kids to explore and learn all about the wildlife around them.
The Opportunity
Our client currently has an exceptional opportunity for an Early Childhood Teacher, to join their centre in Blaxland, NSW.
This is role is on a 6 month contract commencing from late February. You will be working on a part-time basis on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and will also be required to occasionally cover shifts.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide a high level of care for the children in the centre whilst effectively implementing education programs.
Reporting to the Centre Director, some of your responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the development of the children's education.
- Implementing and creating art and craft ideas to facilitate learning.
- Carrying out programming, reflections, portfolios and observations.
About You
To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified ECT. Additionally, you will have a current working with children check, valid first aid certificate and you will also have asthma and anaphylaxis training.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with a great work ethic and a friendly, creative and enthusiastic nature.
