Our client is a small boutique accounting firm who is a dynamic and growing firm in the Hills Shire. Their focus and emphasis is on small business tax and accounting, supplying their clients with exceptional services to assist with their accounting needs. They are continually pushing the boundaries of what an accounting firm is.  

About The Opportunity

They are looking for a Senior Business Services Accountant to join their company in Bella Vista, NSW, with the opportunity to work from home a few days per week, as the majority of their work is online. You have the potential to earn up to $90,000 per annum | Negotiable Salary $70,000 - $90,000 + Superannuation, Based on Experience.

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of a client's financial recordkeeping, including:

  • recording financial transactions
  • managing accounts payable and receivable
  • completing individual tax returns
  • reconciling bank statements, and completing annual tax forms
  • preparing financial statements and reports, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet
  • assisting with tax planning reports

You will also be responsible for a team of 4, with particular emphasis on project management, client relationship management, support, analyse, and improvement upon existing accounting systems and processes.

About You 

The successful candidate will ideally be a CA/CPA qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years experience in public practice, additionally, you will be proficient using Quickbooks online.

Preference will be given to candidates who speak one of the following languages in addition to English: Polish, Vietnamese or Chinese.
