ACFI Coordinator - Full Time

About the Position

Nestled within our leafy campus at Taigum, north Brisbane, our fully accredited service of St Martin's features landscaped gardens and a range of recreational facilities. Extending across three integrated wings, St Martin's offers residential aged care focused on providing excellent 24 hour nursing and care assistance. The service also caters for our most physically frail and those requiring palliative care.

We are currently looking for a Registered Nurse with ACFI experience to join our team as a Coordinator.  The role requires you to have previous experience with ACFI business rules and assessment procedures, or a keen interest in developing these skills.

The role’s overall purpose is to facilitate the provision of effective, accurate and detailed submissions of ACFI claims.  The Coordinator works closely with clinical and allied health staff and management to conduct ACFI assessments and maintain them to maximize funding. The role is also responsible for the review of ACFI processes to achieve best possible care outcomes.

 

About You

With a successful career as a registered nurse, your experience will have developed to include working with ACFI claims and submissions.  Along with your professional attitude, you will also offer:

  • Knowledge of ACFI, including assessments, claims submissions and working within policies and guidelines
  • Exceptional time management and organisational abilities - ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Ability to monitor and report on ACFI performance within the facility and identify action areas
  • Previous experience in the review of audits and reports and the confidence to implement process outcomes and improvements
  • Support and advice to management for maintenance of facility systems, and training of staff
  • Strong relationship building and networking skills to promote and provide information-sharing and learning
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including residents and their families
  •  Proven skills in analysis, problem solving, negotiation and critical thinking
  • Intermediate level knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Word & Excel 

Your skills and abilities will be coupled with the following qualifications:

  • Relevant tertiary degree in nursing
  • Current registration with AHPRA and evidence of recent practice
  • A National Police Certificate
