Are you looking for a role to make a real difference to the community around you? The Singleton Local Government Area is going through a time of transformation and Council is seeking someone to help understand its community and actively plan for its future. Working with community service providers and community groups you will do the right analysis to understand what is going on in our community - and why - and then plan both targets and projects to make it grow. This is an exciting opportunity to set the groundwork for this vibrant, progressive, connected, sustainable and resilient community.
In this newly created community facing role you will work closely with groups and stakeholders across all levels of government to identify the best possible opportunities for Singleton. You will have the opportunity to work across socio-economic investigations, arts and cultural projects, community and cultural services as well as a broad range of other areas with a clear focus on realising Singleton’s vision for the future.
Your work will provide you with excellent exposure and opportunity to showcase your interpersonal skills. Your strategic approach and ability to gain buy in will serve you well as will your advanced project management skills.
This position is offered on a permanent full time basis working 35 hours per week and is placed at Grade 16 of the salary system attracting between $103,541 and $116,470 per annum base plus superannuation.
