About the Role

We're looking for a switched on, energetic, passionate Marketing & Advertising Manager to join our global head office in Milton, Brisbane.

With 3 direct reports, and indirectly leading a larger team of 10 dedicated individuals in our marketing and advertising teams, you will oversee the growth and strategic direction of our Marketing and Advertising sector.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be oversee our Recruitment Advertising, Content Marketing, and Digital Marketing teams, all of which are integral parts of our business and brand as a whole.

Key duties will include:

• Developing and implementing strategies and initiatives to support the growth, retention and brand objectives for each department;
• Monitoring and reporting on financial activity, as well as reviewing and continuously evolving budget strategies and financial forecasts;
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase efficiency, coordinating professional development within teams, as well as personally providing leadership, support and coaching; and
• Negotiating and working with suppliers to discuss potential, as well as wholesale opportunities, for all marketing materials, including print advertising and online ad campaigns.

To be considered for this role, you will hold relevant tertiary qualifications and will have an extensive history of leadership and management in an advertising or marketing space. You'll be proficient with a diverse range of marketing and advertising functions, ideally coming from an agency background. Strong financial and budgeting skills, as well as the ability to translate marketing and advertising activities into clearly defined ROIs and KPIs will be paramount for this position.
