About the Role

As our Wedding Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing enquiries and sales as well as overseeing the coordination and delivery of all weddings held on property. Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Front Office team, you will also assist, on occasion, with checking in/out guests, responding to reservation enquiries and delivering an exceptional experience to all guests of our property.

 

About You!

To be considered for this role, you will have:  

  • Significant experience in wedding planning and coordination;
  • Exposure to and an understanding of fine dining / high end accommodation establishments;
  • The ability to think on your feet and make decisions with informed authority;
  • A sales and marketing background with a passion for achieving targets and delivering results;
  • Willingness to work in Front Office when required;
  • A team focus and collaborative approach to your colleagues;
  • A genuine care for your guests and pride in your work;
  • Immaculate presentation standards;
  • …and most importantly, a warm and accommodating nature with the willingness to go above and beyond;

 

Your success in this role will require you to be a competent communicator across complex issues; you must be detail oriented and have excellent problem solving skills. Given the location of our property, you will ideally live within a one hour commute of Grandchester and have your own reliable transport.
