Due to the growth of the business, WHSmith currently have various Retail Assistant casual positions available across our Brisbane Sites. Positions are available a WHSmith Brisbane Central Station, Gadgetshop Brisbane Airport and Supanews Northlakes. Our Retail Assistants provide exceptional customer service experience and work well with the Team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Serve customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner, demonstrating service superstardom
- Cash handling and standard retail transactions
- Adhere to all back and front of house processes and procedures
- Get involved in merchandising and stock rotation
Skills & Experience:
- At least 6 months' experience in a retail environment
- Newsagent or convenience store experience will be highly regarded
- Tech sales experience will be highly regarded
- Must be available weekends and weekdays
- Lotto knowledge an advantage
- Warm, friendly, and outgoing personality
- Great personal presentation
- Flexibly available across business hours (6am - 9pm)
- A team player
