About the Opportunity

We currently have opportunities for multiple Mobile and Shop Forklift Technicians to join our team in Surrey, BC.  

In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing material handling equipment either at clients facilities or in-house at our facility in Surrey, BC. 

More specifically, you will be responsible for:  

  • Communicating with customers
  • Completing your job the to the customers satisfaction
  • Keeping tools, equipment, and work area clean and organized
  • Completing and submitting all work order forms 
  • Performing everything from routine scheduled planned maintenance to major repairs
  • Follow­up on jobs waiting for parts
  • Guaranteeing high quality in all repairs done
  • Completing all work in a timely manner
  • Working with warranty jobs when required

As a Mobile Forklift Technician, you will also be required to travel to customer sites to complete scheduled maintenance and repairs as requested. 

To qualify for this role, you will have an Automotive or Heavy Duty Mechanic Journeyman Ticket or demonstratable previous experience working as a Forklift Technician. Previous Material Handling experience will be considered an asset. 

You will also have strong troubleshooting skills, be proficient with computers, hardworking and have the ability to work as part of a team and individually.

Most importantly, you will have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers.
