BagTrans is a highly successful national transport company which for over 35 years has been working with some of the most prominent brand names in the Australian Consumer, Packaged Goods, Pharmaceutical and Food Manufacturing sectors.
BagTrans' primary market is medium to large national and multinational companies with palletised, timeslot, less-than-truck-load deliveries. The BagTrans fleet ranges from small two tonne enclosed delivery vehicles, 14 pallet rigid trucks, 22 -24 pallet semi-trailers to full mezzanine floored 68 pallet B Double trailers.
About the Opportunities
BagTrans now has multiple opportunities for local MC Drivers across their operations in Eastern Creek in Sydney's western suburbs and Brooklyn in Melbourne's western suburbs.
These are full-time positions with a range of morning and afternoon shifts, as well as plenty of opportunities for overtime. BagTrans will work with the successful candidates to find rosters that best suit their particular lifestyle requirements. You will be supported by depot staff who will regularly unload your trailer for you while you couple to a new pre-loaded trailer for your next run.
To be considered for one of these positions you will need the following:
- A current MC Driver's License (manual)
- Be at least 25 years of age (for insurance purposes)
- At least one year's B-Double experience, ideally gained in a metropolitan environment
- Experience with Road Ranger gearbox (desirable not mandatory)
- A positive attitude and a focus on providing great customer service
- A focus on safety and fatigue management
Prior to commencement candidates will also need to pass all pre-employment checks, which may include a medical assessment, National Police Clearance Check and Driving License history check. BagTrans employees are also required to undertake periodic drug screening.

An attractive permanent employment hourly rate at $29/hr (equivalent to a casual rate at $36.25) is on offer. You will also have the opportunity to earn overtime and afternoon shifts earn an additional 17.5% shift loading.
