FMSA now has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Interior Designer to join their North Melbourne team on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Interior Designer and working closely with the Architects and Directors, this role will see you bring your innovative design experience and passion for quality interiors, to a mix of predominantly commercial and government projects, with some ad-hoc residential work.
You will provide a full end-to-end design service - everything from initial concept design, through to ArchiCAD modelling and documentation, scheduling, rendering and coordination of sub-contractors and client liaison. FMSA is also looking for candidates who can bring an existing client base and/or are confident in conducting business development activities in the course of their role to help increase sales and new business opportunities.
About You
To be considered for this position you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role with a focus on commercial or government projects. Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design and/or experience with ArchiCAD will be highly regarded, however this is not mandatory providing you have the required experience.
FMSA Architecture is looking for someone with knowledge of commercial work environments and sustainable and accessible design. You will need to have at least an intermediate working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Photoshop and an understanding of wellness principles and modular design.
Importantly, you will have a good work ethic, creative problem-solving skills, experience managing multiple stakeholders, and the capacity to adapt to fluctuating workloads.
