About the Opportunity
Signode has an exciting opportunity for a Field Service Technician with electrical and mechanical experience, who would like to work in the Service industry.
Reporting to our Vancouver office, you will be primarily responsible for the scheduled service, installations and support of power strapping equipment for clients across Western Canada.
To qualify for this role, you will have:
- Post-secondary education or certification in an Electro/Mechanical field
- Experience servicing or repairing industrial equipment, including PLCs at the troubleshooting level working with a programmer
- Fabrication experience (asset)
- A valid driver’s license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Our ideal candidate will also be able to work calmly and effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, have demonstratable customer service skills and be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The flexibility to travel, work after-hours and on weekends (when required) is also essential for success in this role.
