About the Opportunity
As the company transforms, Penrith Imaging is seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist Team Leader to join their team in Kingswood.
Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be primarily responsible for coordinating and providing comprehensive administrative support to a team of Radiologists.
More specifically, you will be required to:
- Manage a team of seven individuals to fulfill a diverse range of administrative tasks;
- Provide front desk reception as well as greeting patients;
- Answer the telephone in a professional manner and make appointments; and
- Process reviews and quality improvements.
To be successful in this varied and challenging role, you will have strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks across the technical and clinical departments. You will also have a strong client service focus and a proactive hands-on approach.
Qualifications are not essential for this role, however a Certificate IV in Management is desirable. Management experience is essential, and the successful applicant will have the demonstrated ability to run an effective and productive team.
Additionally, computer proficiency is will be held in high regard, and knowledge of Promedicus will be a distinct advantage.
Penrith Imaging is looking for someone with a mature attitude towards their work, who can use their excellent leadership skills to guide and develop a professional team.
This pivotal position offers job security and an attractive hourly rate of $22 - $24 plus increased super, commensurate with experience. Working a 37.5 hour week, shifts are generally between 7.30am and 6.00pm, however, as the position will require some early evening work, you will need to have a flexible attitude.
