Your New Career
Camp Australia now has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Area Manager to join their team in Sydney, covering 15 services across eastern Sydney.
Reporting to the General Manager, this pivotal position is responsible for coaching, mentoring and guiding Coordinators, with the aim of ensuring they have all the support necessary, and are empowered, to provide the best care for the children who use the program.
This pastoral care element of your role is critical, and you will be accountable for coordinator satisfaction as well as retention. You will be backed by subject matter experts in compliance, quality and staff training to free up your schedule, allowing you to focus 100% of your energy on providing quality support to your Coordinators. Ongoing training will also be provided to ensure you can confidently assist your Coordinators in achieving their goals.
In addition, some of your key duties will include:
- Taking responsibility for performance management and other relevant HR processes;
- Overseeing all educational programming, ensuring it falls in line with legislation guidelines; and
- Reporting back to the General Manager on performance and other relevant matters.
Please Note: This is a remote position working from home, and visiting school-based services face to face. All tools needed for your home office will be provided for you.
About You
The successful candidate must have demonstrated leadership experience within the childcare industry, preferably having lead a range of different services. It is essential you have qualifications in childcare (diploma level or higher).
