About the Opportunity
Ballarat Community Health (BCH) now has 3 exciting opportunities for VR General Practitioners to join their team based in Ballarat. Hours and days for these roles are extremely flexible. BCH can cater for all positions to be full-time, however the organisation is also open to discussing part-time, contract and drive-in, drive-out options for suitable applicants, if that is preferable.
These positions report to the Manager - Medical Services, and are well supported by a highly collaborative GP team, as well as a dedicated Registered Nursing Team, Administrative Team and Allied Health Specialists, who you will also work closely with in case management, with a lot of internal referral options making it easier to provide a holistic service for patients.
Whilst two of the available positions are true generalist roles, there is also the opportunity for one GP to be based within the Sexual Health Clinic providing specialised services relevant to this area of practice. Candidates interested in this particular position also have the option to work weekends and/or evening shifts, if this is of interest.
To be considered for one of these positions, you must be a Vocationally Registered GP with a solid understanding of Medicare items including enhanced primary care. Previous experience with accreditation standards is strongly preferred.
