About the Opportunity

With an exciting plan to expand into the Australian market, Fone Haus now has a unique opportunity for an energetic and motivated Marketing Manager to join the Port Moresby team. 

Reporting to the General Manager and working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and Retail Operations teams, you will primarily be responsible for creating marketing strategies and campaigns for the retail shops in PNG, Timor-Leste and and soon-to-be Australia mobile phone launch.

You will also be involved with the Distribution team to develop strategies, campaigns and Franchise execution.

Some of your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Creating and executing 90 day, 6 month and 12 month marketing plans
  • Negotiating media deals
  • Managing the effective spend of marketing budgets
  • Organising media contracts
  • Working with the Retail and Distribution teams for execution and Franchise opportunities

To be considered for this role you must have demonstrated marketing experience, excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills, and the confidence and adaptability to professionally present to the Board of Directors and General Manager.

A collaborative and outcome-focused approach to your work will be crucial to your success, as will your ability to understand the financial aspects of the business including budgeting and forecasting.
