About the Opportunity
C3 Construction Group now have an exciting opportunity for a driven Project Manager to join their supportive team in Thomastown, VIC, only 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. This is a full-time role where you will be working on various industrial and commercial project sites.
You will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating a wide range of construction projects and team to ensure all projects are delivered to our clients within required timeframe and on budget.
Some of your day to day responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Managing the project team/s on site;
- Working closely with clients and contractors to ensure that expectations are met, and work is carried out to the required standards;
- Taking accountability for all reporting and documentation;
- Ensuring budget and timelines are met and adhered to;
- Acting as the key point of contact for all people on site;
- Reviewing project plans and specifications for implementation with the project team; and
- Reporting to Senior Management on a regular basis and advise of any current or potential issues which may arise.
About You
To be successful in this role you will need relevant qualifications in Construction or a similar field and significant proven experience in project management on a wide range of projects in the industrial/commercial construction space within Australia.
You will have the ability to work autonomously and as a part of a team. You will be confident in your abilities and in communicating this effectively to higher-level management.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in motivating and leading staff.
In addition to the above, you will be an innovative thinker with excellent time management, verbal, written and interpersonal skills. You will be competent in the use of computer programs, and in particular the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
Please note: A current 'C' class driver's license and a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) are essential requirements.
