About the Opportunity
Beaumont Care now has a fantastic opportunity for a Service Manager to join their team in Clontarf, QLD. This is a Monday to Friday position with occasional weekend work if required. The Service Manager also participates in a fortnightly on-call roster with the Clinical Nurse.
Reporting to the Manager Care Delivery and well-supported by the on-site corporate services team, this position is responsible for overseeing the provision of holistic, contemporary care for residents at Redcliffe Home, as well as the operational management and leadership for staff at the facility.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive resident assessments and ensure a safe and pleasant living environment for residents;
- Taking financial responsibility for the Redcliffe Home facility including developing the service budget, ensuring expenses and staff salaries are in line with budgets and ensuring monthly government payments for residents' care correlates with funding claims;
- Performing a range of leadership practices, such as proactive problem solving; risk mitigation; promoting teamwork; encouraging consultation, collaboration and communication; and ensuring a positive and harmonious working environment; and
- Implementing and evaluating processes to ensure quality of care and quality of life for residents via effective change management practices and procedures if required.

About You
To be considered for this position you will hold current AHPRA registration as a registered nurse and/or post-graduate qualifications in business or similar. You will also have leadership experience gained in an aged care clinical setting, ideally with exposure or training on the new quality aged care standards.
Critical to your success in this role will be the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders including residents, staff, families and external service providers. You will have good commercial acumen with the financial knowledge to successfully operate the facility and will be comfortable identifying problems and making informed decisions that ensure the ongoing efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
Prior to commencement in this role you will need to hold a current Criminal History Check.
