About the Opportunity
Mediquip is now looking for a dynamic full-time Receptionist to join their team in Loganholme, approximately half an hour south from Brisbane's CBD.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be providing a range of reception support functions to Mediquip and its staff, representing the organisation as its first point of contact.
Your day-to-day duties will include (but not be limited to):
- Acting as the first point of contact for customers, typically via phone, directing them to the appropriate person/department where required;
- Managing email inboxes to ensure all information is forwarded promptly and accurately, including purchase orders, customer queries and accounts payable invoices;
- Sending out daily mail and processing banking, including the manual processing of credit cards;
- Assisting with general staff inductions and helping to coordinate staff travel;
- Maintaining and ordering appropriate levels of stationary; and
- Completing a range of general reception duties, including scanning, filing and copywriting.
About You
To be considered for this position you must have previous experience as a receptionist in a busy office environment. People-focused and sociable, you will be comfortable acting as a first point of contact, ensuring positive and professional interactions with customers that leaves a lasting impression.
Your strong organisational skills, willingness to establish constructive working relationships with all coworkers, and ability to balance multiple-tasks simultaneously will go a long way to ensuring your success within this busy role.
Acting as an integral support function, you will also need to have a competent level of computer literacy with sound verbal and written communication skills, allowing you to pass on and distribute information consistently and accurately.
