About the Organisation

PCYC (Police Community Youth Clubs) is Australia's leading youth development organisation. There are 59 clubs throughout NSW, with 136 different types of activity. With the support of public donations, more than 1,400 kids from disadvantaged backgrounds are given free membership each year. The organisation has over 54,000 members, 120 Police Officers, 2,500 volunteers and 400 staff.

About the Opportunity

As a result of growth and expansion, PCYC is seeking Club Managers to work at their clubs in Mount Druitt, Cowra and Moree.

The main aim of these roles is to ensure that the Club's human, material and financial resources are focused on effective and efficient growth of safe, fun and sustainable activities for young people.

On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Venue and facilities management;
  • Business planning;
  • Financial and budget management;
  • Coordination of sporting and recreational activities;
  • OHS & Risk Management;
  • Marketing and fundraising;
  • Facilitate positive relationships; and
  • Generate sustainable business opportunities.

The ideal candidates will have proven management experience, with marketing development and financial management skills.

A sound level of computer literacy, a current driver's licence, and a commitment to the youth development and juvenile crime prevention goals of PCYC are all essential within this position.

This position will give you the opportunity to establish networks and build positive relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders, therefore you will need strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Applicants are subject to successful Police and Working With Children Checks.

Any relevant qualifications (e.g. business management, leisure management) or certifications (e.g. First Aid certificate) will be held in high regard, but are not essential. Similarly, experience within the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

The successful applicants will enjoy an attractive salary package circa $80,000 including super plus further benefits.
