About the Opportunities
Akron Group is currently seeking both Carpenters and Cabinet Makers to join their team in Alice Springs, NT on a full-time contract for up to 3 years.
As a carpenter, your main responsibilities will include general repairs, joinery and concrete formwork construction, quality control and assisting other trades as required.
As a cabinet maker, your main responsibility will be to assemble and install quality joinery across a range of projects.
About You
The successful candidates for both positions will possess the following:
- Minimum of 2 years' relevant carpentry or cabinet making experience post apprenticeship
- Current White Card
- Current Driver's License
- The ability to work a rotational on-call schedule
- Strong initiative and a 'can do' attitude
- The ability to work both as part of a team and autonomously
- A methodical and thorough approach to work
- High attention to detail with the ability to stay calm under pressure
In addition, Carpenter candidates must hold their own set of tools and be experienced in first and second fix, joinery, construction and maintenance work.
Please Note: All candidates must be willing to undergo a Police Check and be willing to obtain an Ochre Card.
