About the Opportunities
Akron Group is currently looking for both Tilers and Plumbers to join their team in Alice Springs, NT on up to a 3-year, full-time contract.
As a Plumber, you will be responsible for a range of maintenance, installation and inspection activities.
As a Tiler, you will be responsible for general wall or floor tiling and maintenance.
About You
The successful candidates for both positions will be fully qualified in their trade, and have:
- Demonstrated experience in either Tiling or Plumbing;
- Strong initiative with a 'can do' attitude;
- A methodical & thorough approach to work;
- The ability to work both independently & as part of a team;
- High attention to detail, able to stay calm under pressure;
- The ability to work a rotating on-call roster;
- A Current White Card; and
- A Current Driver's License.
Plumber candidates must hold a current NT Plumbers & Drainers License, or equivalent registration in another Australian state or territory, and be willing to obtain this. A gas fitting license is also preferred but not essential.
Please Note: All candidates must be willing to undergo a Police Check and be willing to obtain an Ochre Card.

In return for your hard work and dedication, you will receive a competitive remuneration circa $50 - $55 per hour for the Plumber role, and $40 per hour for the Tiler, negotiable based on your level of experience and plus super.
