About the Opportunity

EC Power now has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Estimator to join their team in Silverwater, NSW on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the EC Power Directors, you will be primarily responsible for providing estimate summaries for a range of commercial projects, predominantly within the Sydney metro area with some travel required on occasion.

Your key duties will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Providing accurate estimates and correct pricing, taking all project requirements into consideration;
  • Preparing, submitting and following up on tenders with the goal of securing new business;
  • Sourcing suppliers and understanding materials, labour and equipment pricing that can be used for estimates; and
  • Overseeing safety requirements and ensuring estimates comply with relevant legislation and Australian Standards.

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have demonstrable experience in electrical estimation and tendering, preferably within the commercial sector.

You will need to possess industry knowledge and be confident in your ability to provide relevant, cost-efficient solutions across a variety of projects.

In this predominantly autonomous role, you must demonstrate a high degree of initiative and problem-solving abilities, as well as a keen eye for detail and strong project management skills.

As you will be building relationships with a number of clients and stakeholders, you should also possess exceptional communication skills and maintain a friendly, personable approach in your dealings. 

Please note: You will need to hold a current Australian driver's licence prior to commencing employment.
