About the Opportunity
Warwick Credit Union now have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Clerk to join their team in Warwick, QLD.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be primarily responsible for providing assistance to the Finance Team in computing, classifying, recording and verifying data for use in maintaining accounting records.
More specifically, your day-to-day duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Teller cash reconciliations and journals;
- Completing daily statement journals;
- Completing bank and various suspense account reconciliations;
- Ordering Branch/ATM cash; and
- Accounts payable data entry.

Who Are We Looking For?
To be considered for this role, you must have a high school or general education leaving certificate, or relevant experience and training.
Whilst no formal qualification are required, you will be expected to bring a satisfactory level of competence with numerics and strong computer literacy skills, with the ability to quickly grasp new systems and processes.
The successful candidate will also need to be a confident communicator with strong customer service skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
