About the Opportunity

Due to continued growth, Saacke are looking for a self-motivated Field Service Technician to join their team in Girraween, Western Sydney on a full-time basis. 

Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting customer needs with excellent customer service;
  • Preforming general servicing to hot water and steam boiler, including annual servicing;
  • Attending sites and conducting diagnostics, fault-finding; and provide start-up, service, upgrade and troubleshooting of Industrial Pants, commercial steam, and hot water generation equipment as well as related controls and systems including electrical systems;
  • Completing both electrical and mechanical repairs for upgrades on serviced equipment;
  • Boiler installation and commissioning; and
  • Providing customer support and building relationships.

Occasionally out of town work is required for both scheduled works and breakdowns.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will hold a current Electrical licence with strong mechanical aptitude. You must be able to confidently read wiring diagrams and P&ID drawings.

While not essential, experience working on boilers, furnaces and burner related applications and knowledge of the Australian standards would be an advantage.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have exceptional communication skills, a courteous manner and the ability to stay calm in high-pressure situations. 

This position would suit an individual who is keen to grow and develop their skills and professional development.

Please note, you must have a current, unencumbered Australian drivers licence with a clean driving record.
