About the Opportunity
Due to continued growth, SAACKE are looking for a self-motivated Fitter/Welder to join their team in Girraween, Western Sydney on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Metal fabrication;
- Assembling gas burners;
- Gas train pipe work preparation;
- Gas skid manufacturing;
- Painting;
- Use of CAD drawing and design; and
- Occasional off-site work on bigger installations
About You
The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in welding, fitting or fabrication with at least 5 years experience in a similar role.
Experience in heavy and light metal fabrication and the ability to read CAD drawing and design are essential, with a forklift licence and White Card an advantage.
You will need to have a strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail, as well as the ability and willingness to work in a team environment.
You will also need to be proficient in reading, understanding and following detailed engineering drawings.
Please note: You must hold a current Australian drivers licence to be considered for this role, and be willing to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
