As our Bid & Proposal Team Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the internal Bid Management and Proposal process and lead the team to produce high quality tender responses and proposals. 

 

What you'll be doing… 

This is a key role in our sales division, co-ordinating the efficient administration of all new bid notices and proposals and managing the effective allocation of resources in line with our vision and strategy. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Timely and effective management and coordinating of the bid process for large complex deals, or non-standard, complex customer solutions  
  • Provide a compelling customer experience and identify innovative strategies to win bids and consciously improve internal processes/practices 
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders including the Executive team, GMs, Regional Sales, Solutions Managers, regional Presales Consultants and other internal stakeholders.  
  • Playing a key role in the design, delivery and continuous improvement of the Account Planning strategy  
  • Leading workshops across all regions in developing strategies and proposals to win bids  
  • Providing training and coaching in presentation / demo skills / Executive writing 
  • Ensuring all TechOne bids are accurate and consistently delivered in accordance with defined standards and result in an attractive and enticing offering to our customers.  

 

Your talents... 

  • Experience in a similar Bid Management and Proposals leadership function ideally in the technology sector  
  • Experience working successfully in a target driven environment within a similar function 
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organisation 
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to understand the company’s commercial drivers and underlying business needs
